Memorial of our heroes

First off, I know I'm a day late in posting this but this rock is a very special rock. It's a rock my Grandpa Mills grabbed while he was there, on D-day at Omaha Beach, June 6th 1944. He marked it and put it with the rest of his rock collection of all the areas in the world he's been. This rock is dear to me. It reminds me of ALL the stories Grandpa would share with us grand kids of his war stories, particularly of D-day. He truly was courageous. I love and miss him.

On Saturday of Memorial weekend, we visited a few grave sites.
This was at Grandpa Mills. Here are Emma and Thomas sitting with Grandma Mills, we celebrated his life with looking at pictures and listening to a cd of him playing the piano.

Love this picture.
My mom, sister Kim, Grandma Mills, me, Thomas and Emma.

We kept our tradition from last year of Emma playing the harmonica, just like Grandpa.

I brought some pictures to display of our Grandpappy.

Look at those legs....hahahhaha

Thomas of course insisted on pushing all the buttons, including mine. :)

Here we are visiting Grandpa Olsen (Derek's step-Grandpa)

On Monday, we went to Trafalga where we have passes. Fun day.

Poor Daddy's ears.

Emma was so brave to try the rock climbing wall. She did so well.

Daddy went along.

Later, we went and visited Grandpa Frazier's grave. This is Derek's grandpa who he has never met. He was a well respected man.
