Brian Regan

Ok, to all of you Brian Regan fans!! His new DVD "Standing Up" came out last week and we LOVE IT!! He is freaking hillarious! We were introduced to Brian Regan about 2 years ago by some of Derek's mission friends and we've loved him ever since. The best part is he has clean humor. His new DVD is from a Comedy Central show he did. He has a cd and two DVD's out (I think thats all). We went to his show "Take Luck" tour at Kingsbury Hall last December and we were almost peeing our pants. The tickets sold out SO fast that he had booked two other shows at the beginning of January. BIG FANS!!

WE FINISHED!!

Well, Derek and I have finally finished the touch ups on the baby's room. It's all ready for her to come. It's been lots of fun doing this project together. We are so excited to have her come into our lives. Having this project done, makes it seem more real. So anyways, that's that!!

I love my friends!!

My good friends from the mission and I got together last Wednesday night. Sara was in town so we had a fun and exciting ice cream night. It was fun reminsing about our good ole' mission memories. I love them!

My good friends Shiloh and Lara threw a baby shower for me this last weekend. It was so much fun having my friends there and being able to catch up with them. It seems like the only times we can all get together as friends is on occasions like these that bring us all together. Lives get crazy with marriage, kids, college, work, etc...but it's so fun when we can finally get together.

Temple trip to Manti

Derek and I took a trip to the Manti Temple on Thursday. We had an interesting adventure getting there, but after all was said and done it was an amazing temple trip. It's so beautiful down there, especially on the Temple grounds. We figure we want to get all the temple going in before the baby comes which is in about 2 weeks :)

37 weeks!

37 weeks! Derek and I are so excited for our little girl to come in less than a month. Good Gravy, time continues flying! We pretty much have the essentials all ready for her to come to us. I'm feeling pretty good, just experiencing some sleep deprivation but it's just preparing me for her to come. She continues to grow and move like crazy....we love it.

"Starry Starry Night!!"

Derek and I went up to the Canyon to watch the Meteor showers late Sunday evening. There were some amazing shooting stars in the clear bright sky. It was amazing how bright the stars were. So much fun. We always love to go star gazing.

Work baby shower!

My wonderful co-workers Jenny and Maqueca threw me a surprise baby shower at work. I was SO surprised and had such a blast being with all my co-worker friends. It was so great being with all of them. You know, I'm going to miss working with all the wonderful people at Dentrix.

1.) when I was little (2 or 3 years old) I had my own language :)
2.) I HATE clowns...thanks to watching the movie "Polterguise" when I was little. I have never been the same.
3.) I went bungee jumping in Australia off 140 feet.
4.) I used to memorize ALL the Nsync dances....yup I still know them. If you ever want to learn a dance like 'POP', 'Bye, Bye, Bye', 'It's gonna be me', etc...you know where to find the right person. :) I even danced to "POP" at our wedding reception. Yeah, mmm hmm!
5.) I LOVE the smell of tires (if you haven't already known that by now)
6.) My dream is to become a break dancer
7.) I watch "Little House on the Prairie" every Sunday.
8.) I used to communicate with horses (making horse noises) when I was in Jr. high. In the school bus, we would always drive by horses and I would stick my head out the window and make horse noises to them.

Mmmmm....tires!!!

Ok....so remember when I mentioned 'Mandy's Top Cravings' a couple weeks ago? Well, this is proof of how MUCH I love the smell of tires....fresh and new tires. We just so happened to have our camera with us when we went to Costco and what does Mandy do?...she heads right to the auto section. Pretty weird! Oh man, oh how I love the smell of tires.

Family swimming party!!

The pictures kind of look pixaly....but anyways. We had a big swimming party at our condo complex with all my family. It was LOTS of fun. We had all the 18 neices and nephews there....that was a BLAST! They absolutely loved playing with Uncle Derek, the neices were clinging to him all over the pool. It's always so much fun to have the family together.
