Merry Christmas!

On Christmas Eve Eve we took some photos of Emma in her Christmas dress that Grandma Frazier gave her. She looked so stinking cute and we just had to share it with you.

little Emma is 3 months old!!!

Our little Emma is three months old today! We can't believe how FAST time flies. She is growing so fast. She is now 11 lbs. and 24 inches long. Her length is in the 97 percentile. Pretty tall little girl. She is so interactive now.

it's COLD season!!

My poor little family has been sick with the cold the past week. Derek has been sick since the beginning of last week. He's been deprived from holding Emma all week. Then sadly enough Emma started getting sick last Friday. I noticed throughout the day she started coughing a lot, her nose was very stuffy, you could hear heaviness in her chest, and her eye started watering and turning really red. We took her to the doctor on Saturday and they told us we couldn't give her any medication just lots of love and care. BUT I noticed today she hasn't been coughing as much. I think she is getting much better. Thank goodness. Derek on the other hand is still struggling with his cold. It just won't go away, bless his heart.

I saw this video on my friend Sara's blog and thought it was so sweet. It reminds me of when Emma sleeps, it truly is so peaceful!!

Emma visiting Santa Claus

Isn't she a doll? We took Emma to go visit Santa at Pebbles in my Pocket a couple weeks ago. She was being so cute and content...thank goodness. We can't get enough of her cuteness. Santa was so nice and sweet.

Emma laughs!!

On Sunday night just after Emma's bath, we were playing with her and all of a sudden she started laughing for the first time. It was the SWEETEST noise and sight. I hurried to get the video camera but then she was done. Then this morning Daddy was playing with her and she started giggling again so I was able to get some still shots. She's growing up so much.

Last Friday afternoon my friend Jill and her cute little daughter Abby came over for a visit. We wanted to get Emma and Abby's pictures taken together. Emma wasn't having a very good day as you can tell by the pictures...hehehehe. Abby sure enjoyed herself though. Cute little munchkins!

Let's DANCE!!!

For those of you that really know me know that I LOVE TO DANCE!! Last week I was watching some old dance videos I was in. Dance performances from when I was in Dance Company in high school, also some talent shows I was in after my mission in my singles ward and Institute. These dancers have been some of my BIGGEST inspirations. hehehehe, get ready to live!!

Ok...the movie 'HITCH' has the funniest dancing on this planet and is freaking awesome!! I almost pee my pants every time I watch the dancing parts!!

Ok, so this movie "You got Served" has THE WORST acting ever. All I do is skip and watch all the dancing parts. I admit I am a sucker for some HIP HOP dancing here and there. Their dancing is crazy!


And last but NOT LEAST!! You gotta love Carlton!! I've tried his dancing out since I was 14 years old. This is my all time favorite!!

Emma's 2 month shots!

Emma had her two month doctors appointment this morning. I had Derek come with me because I knew it was going to be hard watching them give her her 4 shots. SO sad, it was heart breaking! But she's doing pretty good so far. We'll see how it is at the end of the day. I just hope she doesn't break out in fever from the effects of the shots. She's already 10 lbs. 2 oz. and is 24 inches long. She has grown 2 inches in 2 weeks and has gained about 9 oz in the last two weeks as well. She is pretty long; she's going to be tall like her Mom and Dad. :) She's growing growing growing!!

Story Time!!

Emma is starting to like story time. It's so much fun reading to her when she is content.

Emma's blessing day!!

Emma was blessed yesterday in our ward. We had such wonderful support from our loved ones. It was such a special day.

My friend Nikki was so sweet and took some family pictures for us with her amazing photography skills. We had fun doing it. Emma did do well until the last little bit. She was so cute!

8 weeks old!!

They grow up so fast! We love our sweet Emma! Happy 8 weeks (yesterday) Emma! Mommy and Daddy love you so much!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

What a great Halloween! Welcome to the family chicken farmers; we raise chickens!! Emma was the cutest little chicken, but she wasn't diggin' wearing the costume very much. These are the pumpkins that we carved a week ago. We had fun spending time with our family.

Derek's family is SO artistic. They carved a bunch of these pumpkins. Derek and his Dad have their CNG (natural gas) cars(www.cngutah.com). Here is one that Derek carved of the CNG logo....looks good ay?

And as you can see, Emma had it for the night. If you look closely you can see her eyes are crossed. hehehehe! What a sweetheart!!

Friday Date Night!!

We went to go feed the ducks at the river bottoms in Provo. The ducks were crazy when we first pulled up, they knew they were getting some grub. It was fun.

Don't ask....

Emma wasn't quite sure what to think of all these new and interesting creatures that she's never seen before. Can't imagine what was going through her head. :)Later that night she was chatting with her Aunt Kimmy on the phone. Look at that face!!

Once again......

...Emma LOVES bath time. I know we've mentioned it before but the other night was CLASSIC! I was getting Emma ready for her bath and I told Derek how funny it would be if Emma ever fell asleep while taking a bath. It seems like once the water fills up more and more and her back sits in it, it becomes that much more relaxing to her. It probably reminds her alot of the womb. Low and behold the very same night of this discussion, I had Emma in the bath and let her just sit there for a while before taking her out. Soon enough she passed out!! It was hillarious. I told Derek to grab both video and still camera to capture it. That was the best!!

Emma doesn't like getting out of the bath AT ALL. But she LOVES it when I put her diaper on and swaddle her little body in a very cozy blanket get her all dry. I just discovered that she loves this about a week ago.

Emma's Baby Annoucement!!

Well, it's been fun putting together Emma's baby announcements that we worked on for about 5 solid days :) Derek took a BUNCH of pictures of her in her blessing dress that her Grandma Phair got for her. As you can see it still has room for her to grow in it. What a doll!!

The beautiful fall season!!

Fall is my favorite season. I love the amazing colors of all the trees. Here's Derek experimenting with our new SLR camera he got for us for my birthday/both our Christmas. It's a pretty complex camera, but it works great! We've been very impressed with the quality of pictures it takes.

For Family Home Evening this week we carved pumpkins. Derek and I had fun, Emma on the other hand.....

HAPPY TIME!!

Emma has been LOVING her happy wake time. It lasts a lot longer now. It used to only be about 7-10 minutes, but now they last for up to 30 minutes. She's a blast!!

Family picture day!!

A couple weeks ago Derek's mom took some great pictures of our little family up in the canyon. We tried catching the fall leaves before they all die. Emma was very content the majority of the time and was being so sweet and cute. Then she lost it toward the end. Here a few pictures for you to see.
