Stevie Wonder is pregnant?....

Ok, so this weekend I've been studying full force for my first math test which is tomorrow at 8am. (Why am I still up?...) Anyways. So a couple nights ago after studying like mad, I went to bed with numbers, formulas, fractions, equations, etc...rackin' my brain. I was seeing them all through the night. Then here comes the interesting part. I start dreaming of all sorts of weird stuff, the most clear ones were of me putting fractions into plastic bags...don't ask. Then another dream came where my family went to some parade held in the late summer evening in Salt Lake and Stevie Wonder came to meet and talk with us. Umm...he was pregnant. The funniest part is in my mind I thought, "hmm...something isn't right here. Is it possible? I guess Arnold Schwartzenager was pregnant in that movie, 'Junior?"
Umm....what the heck?!!!!
Kind of curious to know where my dreams will go tonight. :) Yikes.

Ya gotta love Mexican wrasslin'.

This makes me want to go to a Lucha Libre match.

It also probably makes Mandy want to put up a new post so that this isn't the first thing everyone sees when they come to our blog.

CELEBRATION!!!

Well, since our three year anniversary was on Monday the 12th, we wanted to post parts of our wedding video. It was SO much fun watching it and remembering the most sacred, fun, and amazing day of our lives. Our reception was an absolute blast as well, dancing ALL over the place!! Keep in mind that many of you who are reading this may just show up in this video. You know who you are. I love seeing all the people that were there to celebrate with us and support us. There is a particular dear friend of mine who passed away a couple years ago, Kimi Mietzner. This was the last night I saw her before she past away. I love seeing her in the video sitting in the back ground just smiling, probably thinking to herself while watching us dance, "Oh, Phairy Phairy!" Those of you who know Kimi know what I'm talking about. That was my nick name to her. Oh how I miss her.
Also you may notice toward the end of the video when we're dancing to NSYNC, my friend Raylene was dancing with me who was 7 months pregnant. I'm surprised it didn't send her into labor the way she was moving her thang! :) Oh, good times!
Anyways, Hope you enjoy!

We had a fun anniversary. We went to dinner and a movie last week. We ended up celebrating it a little early because I started school that week. We went and saw Twilight and as you can tell we are the only ones in the theater. Awesome. What do you expect? It was a Tuesday early evening at 4:30pm. We also went to the yummy Thai restaurant where Derek and I had our first date, "Thai Chili Gardens."

On Monday night (12th) our actual Anniversary we went to dinner at "Old Spaghetti Factory" where we had our wedding luncheon. It was fun because we documented each other of the good old memories of our special wedding day. We will probably post that video some time soon.
HAPPY 3 year ANNIVERSARY to us!!! I love you Derek!!

3 Year Anniversary!

Wow, it's hard to believe that we've been married for three years already. It seems like it was just yesterday, but at the same time, it feels like we've known each other forever. We are constantly learning from each other and growing together. Three years down and an eternity to look forward to.
I love you sweety!

ok...finally some Christmas pictures

I am pretty behind on the updates from Christmas!
Christmas was absolutely awesome. We spent Christmas Eve with my side of the family. We had a pajama party Christmas Eve and an awesome white elephant gift exchange (oh boy that was fun), and of course the wonderful tradition of the Nativity skit that all the grand kids are involved in.
Christmas morning was so cute. Emma came walking out and seemed so interested in an unwrapped santa gift. She loved doing the unwrappings, what a cutie!
What a wonderful Christmas.

Let me just start off with our Christmas Eve party during our white elephant gift exchange. It got a little out of hand. There were a pair of fluffy socks that went around that many of us would of liked to get our hands on. Well, if you know the white elephant game, the item can only be taken 3 times and then it's locked in with the last person. Well I had taken some socks from my sister Kim (bottom picture) and I was thinking that I was the 3rd person, therefore those socks were mine. Well I was wrong and Kim snatched those suckers right back from me. It was funny! No, I did NOT intentionally hit her in the head with the socks and pack of gum, but it just so happened to catch her right at the right angle and forehead and took a good nick from her forehead. We were laughing about it for hours. Hilarious! Sorry Kim!!
I had been waiting YEARS to give this as a white elephant gift to that special someone. Well, that special someone was my cute niece Maddie that got the ginormous red bra with bells. I was SO excited to give it away. We were all laughing and having fun with the bra. I think everybody tried it on for size. :)
We found Emma in my sisters living room next to her awesome tree. Emma LOVES Christmas lights, and loved this tree.

The sistas!!We love this tradition of the grand kids performing the Nativity scene. Emma was the donkey. What a cute donkey she was.
The kids with their great Grandma Mills.

Santa came!!!
Emma loved the books she got. Here's Daddy reading her 'runaway bunny' book that came with a little stuffed bunny. So sweet.

She loved doing the unwrapping.

Derek was awesome and got me the 1st season of the classic 'Cosby Show.' I grew up always watching this show. We enjoyed ourselves on Christmas morning watching a few episodes.

Well...

I really should be putting up Christmas pictures, I promise they are coming. We just saw this last night on SNL and had to put it up. HILARIOUS! How true it is.
