We attended our annual neighborhood Easter egg hunt on Saturday. Thomas enjoyed both donuts (sister gave him hers from a game=happy boy)
children colored easter eggs.
and onto the hunt....
Thomas really got into it this year.
The neighbors that attended the hunt. Aren't they such a cute bunch?!
We surprised the children and brought home two new hens, Big Bertha (on left) and lady (on right). It took just a day to get them use to each other and pecking order finalized and now the sisters are good friends. :)
Easter Sunday morning
Derek put together a treasure hunt that led them to an Easter lesson.
Eating our Easter breakfast and Resurrection rolls.
Daddy showing the children his Resurrection roll, the "Empty Tomb."
Kids looking in theirs
Colored some eggs before church because we never got a chance to do some at home the day before.
The kids are ready and looking SO cute for church. Happy Easter Sunday. We gave them their treat baskets just before we left.
What in the world??!! We got home after church and the Easter stopped by and got into our house to hide our colored eggs and hide a few other treats. Silly rabbit!
We are grateful for this Easter holiday to remember and reflect on our Savior Jesus Christ and the gift of His Resurrection. What a blessing to have the knowledge and testimonies of the Apostles and others who witnessed His Resurrection after his death. There is no end. We will all be Resurrected someday just like our Savior because He provided The way for us.
