BIG DAY!!!!

First and foremost our sweet Emma learned to officially crawl this evening!! WAY TO GO EMMA!!! HUGE MILESTONE!!!! Also, check the awesome hair to go with it!! (make sure sound is on)

This morning we took Emma swimming for her first time....loved it.

Ok...we think Emma has started to say her first word, "duck." She got a toy duck from Auntie Kimmy a couple days ago. Since then, we've been playing with it alot and yesterday I noticed while I kept saying "duck" to her, all of a sudden I heard her say, "duh..". It's different than when she says, "da da da da da" all the time, but hasn't quite learned to associate it with Daddy yet. Derek noticed her doing the same thing last night in her bathtime while playing with the duck.."duh" She continued it during the day, then tonight we got it on tape. Who knows...but it sure looks like she has learned to say her first word. Who would of thought that it would be the word...."duck"

We had to put the original video in here as well so you can hear the cute sounds she was making.

SO VERY cute! You are certainly a GREAT mama, Mandy! Not trying to be a joy-killer, but Wyatt's first word was Duh Duh, too. But instead of thinking it was Duck, we decided it was THERE. and Ba Ba...Ball? My sister in law SWEARS that her daughter said Cinnamon as her first word...and then when we heard it as "Na Na Na", we realized that no matter what the first word is, its definitely the word you think it to be. :)

Darling, though. Darling. She's beautiful.
