Emma's Easter Tea Party

We had a very fun Easter Tea Party with Emma and some of her girlfriends. They had so much fun and she had fun entertaining her friends. It was cute when they first came over, she would quickly get their spring flower hat and put it on their heads. She also loved making her guests laugh. I'd say it was a great Tea party and Emma can't wait until the next Easter Tea Party. :)

Her friends that joined us were Brooke, Hannah, Fay and Courtney. Aren't they adorable? We missed Lucy and Lily.

It was fun getting into it and asking the girls in a proper voice if they would like some "tea". They would giggle. I tried to teach them the proper way to drink from a tea cup with pinky up. It was hard for them to get that technique down but cute to see them try.

Emma LOVED entertaining the girls with her silly jokes and faces. I love this picture.

My two little bunnies!

Aren't these little bunnies so cute? Emma made an Easter basket in her Preschool and Thomas made these bunny ears at his friend Mi's house for playgroup. Normally he doesn't wear things on his head too well, but he was proud to show us his ears. I love how excited they are for Easter.

I hope your body gets protected.
Baby Rowan I know you get alive again someday.

Unicorn and Leprechaun

UNICORNS!!
This past week or so Emma has been obsessed with unicorns and rainbows. She kept begging me to make her a horn. Finally, yesterday morning while I was running errands Derek was the good daddy and made her a pink and sparkly unicorn horn. She is in HEAVEN! She has that thing on all day. This morning her and Thomas were in the front playing and she was running like a fast unicorn. hahahaha. Look at her fly!
Leprechaun Trap!
This morning we made a leprechaun trap, getting ready for the little guy to come. We've never made one before but had fun putting it together. Emma gathered the sticks for the ladder, I worked on the hat, Daddy helped the kids put ladder together, and Thomas poked Daddy in the eyes with the sticks.

We thought it might be nice to the Leprechaun if we put some padding at the bottom of the hat for when he falls in the trap. Emma thought of the idea to use pillow stuffing for the bottom. Brilliant!
The sign reads:
"No climbing the ladder.
Keep off off
X NO"
We await for your arrival little Lephrechaun! :)

Forever changed....

Our sweet niece Rowan Sage Frazier returned to the loving arms of her Savior.

Words can't express the heart ache that the Frazier family (and all loved ones) have faced this past week and a half. Derek's brother Dennen and his beautiful wife Hilary lost their unborn baby girl, Rowan Sage Frazier at 32 weeks. Last Monday morning they found out the horrible news that their baby didn't have a heart beat, even though she had been moving the day before. Hilary delivered her on Tuesday morning. Derek and I had the wonderful opportunity to see that sweet angel whose spirit had returned to her Savior's arms but whose tender and beautiful body was laying in her parents arms. There are no words that can describe the feeling that was in the room other then pure reverence as Hilary and Dennen beautifully describe it. We will never forget it. Tears were shed as we looked at her little body. The feeling in that room was amazing. That special little girl changed all of us for the better. Her mother and father are incredible examples and there is no doubt that they will see their sweet angel again.
It has been a very rough and heart wrenching trial. I read f
rom someone who went through similar trial that "dark times and trials are important. Trials show us the beauty of God's comfort. It's through the comfort we receive from God during our difficult times that we learn how to comfort others. Sometimes the process of growing closer to our Heavenly Father comes along the path of heartache and pain." I think this experience has brought all of us that much closer to our Savior and Father in Heaven. It gave all of us a better eternal perspective on life and how to live our daily life. Again, this little girl has changed all of us for the better.

Our deepest love to Dennen and Hilary. They never imagined they would be carrying the casket and attending the funeral of their sweet daughter for whom they anxiously and lovingly waited.

Mother Hilary telling little Finn (big brother) about what is going on.
Hilary read a beautiful poem to her daughter.
Beautiful music sung and played by my friend, Amy LaMarr. She sang "A Living Prayer" by Alison Krauss. SO beautiful.
My husband Derek had the opportunity of reading Dennen's letter to his dear Rowan.

Finn pointing to the balloons
Aunt Britta and Emma placing flowers at the casket.

Little Thomas admiring the flowers.
I found Emma petting the casket. Isn't that sweet? I think she understood a little bit of what was going on.

beautiful last words from Dad's letter to Rowan:
...Your memory will remain with us as we pass through this existence. Knowing that you are waiting for our arrival on the other side will be a blessing and a motivation to your family throughout their lives. We love you Rowan.
Love,
Your Dad

Sunday afternoons

This is what our Sunday afternoon was like today after church. Emma said she wanted to marry Thomas. We entered her room where she was getting things prepped like her veil and putting her bows all over it. Also getting her friends ready to watch. Then the dancing began and they were married :) hahaha. It was so cute when I got into her room she said, "welcome to my married Temple." It was quite funny watching her dance with Thomas and then Thomas went on his own and she continued prancing. What fun, what fun they are! I love our munchkins!

Thomas realizing that baby's eyes open and close when you move her up and down. :)

Thomas running back and forth over all of Emma's set up.
And it begins. They start dancing together.

Thomas was more interested in poking at the camera

Emma kept on going with the dancing and prancing.
And nothing is stopping Thomas from the poking the lens. Funny guy!

Emma drew this picture for one of her primary teachers, Sister Jackson. It's a Unicorn. Wow, a unicorn. She has been loving the idea of unicorns jumping over rainbows. I love this picture. That's a serious colorful horn coming out of his head.

Happy Sunday afternoon!

Start off the New Year....in February

Hello folks! Yes, this is the Frazier family that hasn't posted since 1901, but better late then never. I figured I will start up again this month. January was quite the long month for us. It kind of threw us for a curve ball at the beginning. I was 12 weeks pregnant and on January 2nd, I miscarried. I won't go into details, but it was a pretty horrifying experience. Although it was very painful, lonely and heart breaking there was an amazing peace and strength I had after going through it. I have had wonderful support from my loved ones and I am grateful. After going through it, I just wanted to hold my children close and it made me love them that much more. We are doing well and I'm grateful for my sweet husband who has been sensitive and loving to me. I debated whether I should post it on here or not but figured why not, it's our family blog. I can talk about it a little better now. I couldn't really talk about it much the first few weeks. I am grateful for the strength the Lord gave me to get through it.

Well, the weather here most of the month of January has been over all like spring weather. What?! One thing I've NEVER liked about January is the bitter cold and just neh. I feel like it was a blessing to me to help me get through the month. The kids and I were able to make a few park trips and soak in the sun, even in a short sleeve shirts, can you believe it?
So here are some January pictures :)

Derek and I celebrated our 6 year Anniversary with attending a session at Mount Timpanogas Temple and having dinner later. Happy day
This was our trip to the park. Reminding you this was in JANUARY and there were no coats. Can we say spring in January? BEAUTIFUL blessed weather.

The kids were soaking it in and loving it. There was throwing rocks in the river, playing at playground,etc...

Emma was cracking me up. She found a small bb pellet and pretended the whole time that it was an egg. She made a nest for it and would sit on the nest like a mother bird. Then she found the giraffe and had fun making him a bed. I love when they use their imaginations and let them run wild.
Life is good.
