The continuing saga of Floyd the fish. . .

As was noted in the comments of the previous post, Petsmart does indeed have a 2 week lifespan guarantee on their fish.
So Saturday night we came home with Floyd the Second. He's been with us three days so far and we haven't managed to kill him yet.

Of course Emma loves him. She looks for her fish every morning and during every meal.

This betta swims around much more than the other one which just lay on the bottom of the bowl most of the time. I think our first one was a lemon.

Not being animal people, fish are the only tolerable pets in our household. We had a goldfish that refused to die for over a year! I'm pretty sure that's unheard of.

Good luck with Floyd Jr.! RIP Floyd Sr.

That's awesome Emma has a little (not for long) pet fish now! At least Sky once had a beta fish and it got huge.

best of luck to the new fish! we had fish when we were little, it was so random how we wouldn't feed them for several days, or clean their bowl for a long time, they still lived... but then randomly when we were taking good care of them, they'd die.
