Soooo... we did everything that the girl at Petsmart told us to do, yet Floyd departed with this earthly realm today.
We were sad :(

I just wanted to leave my sympathies for your family as you go through the loss of your loved one. May the happy memories of Floyd during his short life uplift you during this hard time.
We got a fish from PetSmart and they said if we had the receipt and the fish died within 2 weeks (I think), we could get a new fish.
How the heck did it die? Every beta fish we have had have been IMPOSSIBLE to kill. Even the one that jumped out of his bowl and was stuck to the wall for 5 min lived for another 18 months.

I can't believe this...it is SO sad! We got a beta from Petsmart last summer and he is going strong. Hopefully you'll have better luck next time...
