Living Nativity.....

We went to the Living Nativity last weekend at the Provo Tabernacle. It was really neat, Emma enjoyed it. She was a little antsy in her pantsy before the play started. She was going up and down the aisle, but was pretty good through the whole thing. She loved seeing baby Jesus. It is definitely a tradition we want to keep alive every Christmas season to see this play.

Maama Sawz.....

Emma: "Mommy, Emma see Maama Sawz"=(Santa Claus)
Me: "Yes Emma you can see Santa Claus someday. When you sit on Santa's lap what are you going to tell him you want for Christmas? What toys would you like for Christmas?"
Emma: umm...Apple Juice
Me: OK, (laughing) What else would you like for Christmas? Any toys?
Emma: "H toys"
Me: (laughing) "Any other toys you would like?"
Emma: (pause)...."Orange Juice"

HAHAHHAHA!!! What a funny little girl. It's funny seeing you understand a little more of who Santa Claus is, or "Maama Sawz" according to Emma.

What are we thankful for?.......

Mandy: "Derek, what are you thankful for?"
Derek: "I'm thankful for my wonderful wife, my daughter, our home, the gospel, our friends, family, and the fact that we live in a state with some of the best gun rights in the country :)"
Mandy: "All right"
What is Mandy thankful for? I am also grateful for my wonderful and most patient husband on the face of this planet. Who loves me regardless of my many weaknesses. I am grateful for my dear sweet daughter who is so pure and innocent and brings the GREATEST joy into my life. I love being a mother and am grateful for my Heavenly Father who trusts me with this great calling in life; to be a wife and mother. I am grateful that Emma is so quick to forgive, and is a great example to me. I love my family. I am grateful for my friends who stand by me and are there for me. MUCH MUCH to be thankful for.

What is Emma thankful for? Well, if we had to guess what Emma's grateful for :) it would be for her Mommy and Daddy (we hope), for all her family and her friends, her minnie mouse, cereal, grapes, ducks, "Super Why" (tv show), her monkey, her boots, her winter hat, etc...and I think the list goes on :)
What is the Frazier family especially grateful for?

For our sweet BOY on the way!!!!
We're thinking the picture gives it away pretty well. hahahhaha. Yes, we just found out on Tuesday and wanted to hold off on the announcement for this special Thanksgiving Day! The ultra sound went great, baby is healthy and growing well. It was funny because the night before I had a dream that we were having a boy. Most of the pregnancy we haven't been quite sure what we're having. For a while I was leaning more toward a girl, naturally :) But this past week I've been leaning toward boy. But when all of was said and done in the ultra sound I still was shocked! We are SO excited.
Now, we just have to get Emma used to the idea that this little one is a boy since she's been saying, "Dirl" =girl the whole time :) hahahhaha. She's going to be such a GREAT big sister.
It's amazing because before we even got pregnant, we felt that a little boy was on his way to our family, sure enough, here he comes!!

Disney on Ice!!!

Emma says, "Ice Ice Mity"= Ice Ice Mickey
We had a very special evening with Emma. We went and saw Disney Princesses on Ice. Emma LOVED it, it was amazing. We enjoyed going out to Olive Garden for dinner before the show.
She talked about 'disy ice" every day up to the very minute it started. It was fun seeing her reactions to the different characters. I was happy our camera caught great pictures.

Her favorite part was seeing "Minnie and Mickey" during the show, hence her Minnie Mouse ears and constume.

**by the way, aren't you impressed that I finally wrote a post. It's been quite some time I know. I honestly haven't had the energy to do it, now I think I'm getting some back :) More posts to come. We still need to post on her bday in Sept. and our fun Halloween. It will come :)

Proud of our little girl

Sorry we've been bad at updating lately. Sooner or later we will post about Emma's Birthday, our trip to Seattle, Halloween and lots of other stuff.

Here's a couple videos of Emma reading out of her colors book. She knows the whole book and can now point out and name colors with ease. She's also got the alphabet down pat.

If that isn't reason enough to be proud of her, check out this short video from Halloween night. (Please ignore her geeky parents.)

An hour and a half in our kitchen.

This may not be the most exciting post in the world for most of you. I've been wanting to play with time lapse photography for a while and made my first one today. It's just 90 minutes in our kitchen shrunk down to thirty seconds. You can see me doing some cleaning, Mandy getting a drink and washing Emma's hands, and Mandy getting some lunch. Everytime I watch it I see something else, like the fish swimming constantly, the ketchup dripping in the bottle, and the moisture on the counter evaporating.
