Our last couple of weeks....

So, I just thought I'd post some random pictures from the past couple weeks or so. Emma is now almost 20 months (next week) and is just SO much fun. Enjoy some highlights....

Here is Issac and Ava Linton with Derek and Emma after building their awesome and amazing snowman the day of our crazy snow storm. This weather has truly been playing some games with us. One day we get to wear our shorts, the next day we're wearing snow pants. But it was still fun.

Here's Emma with her friend Ava.

Derek took this picture the morning of the big SNOW day! April 16th may I remind you.
Emma LOVES her baby now. She has learned to say "baby" so clear. We brought home a little doll bed that I had when I was a little girl. One of Emma's favorite things is to sit in the bed with her baby.
Derek and I took a project upon ourselves to paint a book shelf for Emma's room. She definitely needed a shelf in her room to hold ALL her books. You can tell she was excited when it was finally finished.

Emma has been obsessed with her first owie's she got on her knees from playing outside on the beautiful spring days. She was so proud of them and wanted to show everyone and say, "Owieee" Emma and her two friends Ava and Brooke were playing outside after church last week. They were being SO cute with eachother. They kept hugging each other, later I got the camera and was able to capture a few shots. These little girls are just too sweet. They sure do love each other.
Here's Ava and Brooke hugging. Here they are finding ants to pick up.
Emma loved drawing on the side walk with chalk. She had chalk from one end to the other on her. SO CUTE!I met up with some friends at the park a couple days ago after my last day of class. It was great for Emma and I to go the park together and spend time together. She LOVED looking at the flowers and smelling them. I love this picture and how she's holding and smelling the flower.Emma was a little anti-social at first. You can see her in the background. :) hahaha.
Then Macy was so quick to be-friend Emma and Emma shared some flowers that she found. We had fun at the park with my friends Sara, Nikki, and Melanie.

Our Easter weekend!!

We had such a fun Easter. Emma had a fun week of fun Easter egg hunts and spent our Easter Sunday in reflection of the true meaning of the Easter season. Lots of fun!!

Emma had fun at her first Easter egg hunt with some of her friends in the ward at Mom and Tot. She was really trying to figure out what the big deal is :)

On Saturday, we went to a ward Easter egg hunt. She was getting a little more into the fun of it.

Then Sunday morning she had her own little Easter egg hunt at home. She woke to some Easter bunny foot prints throughout the house and in her room. She found a bunny rabbit that I got for Easter when I was 3 years old, as well as some other treasures.

As she hunted around the house, following the rabbit prints, she wouldn't let go of the sucker she found at the very beginning. She couldn't wait to get that goodness in her. :)

She loved having her first jelly bean...mmmmmm!!!!

And the most important part was finding a picture of Christ at His Resurrection. She saw the pictures and pointed to Him right away and said, "Desis"=Jesus. It was so sweet. We then watched the Easter video "Easter Dream" together. Great way to begin our Easter day.
We took some pictures of her in her sweet little Easter dress after Church. She looked so darling. LOVED IT!! My friend Sara made some little bloomers for her, they were perfect. Thank you Sara!!

She LOVED this stick.
Dancing around.
Playing the piano at Grandma Phair's house.
She loved playing the piano with Grandma.
Just chillin' and waiting for Easter dinner to be ready to eat!! :)

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter!

These are a few of her favorite things...

Our little Emma girl is now 19 months! Are you kidding me? This little girl is SO much fun, we can't get enough of her. Here are a few things she loves to do.

She loves to dance around. I caught her dancing around in her new bathing suit. Can't wait to use it:)
She loves climbing onto her chair in her room and read her books and cuddle with monkey.

She LOVES talking on the phone now. Like gab gab gab on the phone in her own language. Once in a while she'll throw in the word "daddy" or "dink"=drink. She's so sweet.
She also looks forward to putting away clean dishes out of the dishwasher with daddy. She's such a good little helper.
Emma loves her Oma. Anytime she see's her she goes right up to Oma and wants her to hold her and sing, read, and play with her. It's so cute to watch them, especially when Oma is gently singing a song to Emma in German, Emma listens so intently.
Emma also loves to play with her friends Ava, Brooke, and Ethan.

*Some of Emma's NEW words are..
"owey"-ouchy
"wawy"- sorry
"tair"- chair
"dywa"- diaper
"cacku"- cracker
"Boo"
"Bwoo"- blue and moon
"wowa"- flower

Those are the only ones I can think of right now

Dinosaurs!!

We went to the Dinosaur park in Ogden a little over a week ago. It was fun to have a little outing with the family during my spring break. I've been meaning to post some pictures but haven't gotten around to it until now. Emma had LOTS of fun and we have lots of pictures...of course!

In contact with the beast!! Lots of growling going on between the both of them :)
Emma had lots of fun in the playground

Emma giving Daddy kisses

I think this was Emma's favorite part of the park. There were a few operated dinosaurs making very realistic sounds and movements. Emma was pretty nervous at first but then warmed up and had a hard time leaving the room. I thought it was scary,
Once again, Emma meets with her ancestors!
